Visited “Wassily Kandinsky” exhibition at the “Hermitage” (H’ART Museum), Amsterdam.
More than 60 works of Wassily Kandinsky, periods from the 1900s and including the Second World War – from his early works, Munich, Russia, Bauhaus, till his final years in Paris.
Impression from the exhibition is strong.
Kandinsky touches deeply every time and especially now, when current world processes have so much in common with world processes of the first half of the 20th century during the time of Kandinsky (1866-1944).
This is a very first exhibition of the “Hermitage” (H’ART Museum) in collaboration with the Parisian art museum “Center Pompidou”.
It is interesting that the theme of such an exhibition is Kandinsky – Russian artist, one of the greatest artists of the 20th century and a pioneer of abstract art in the world.
There are almost CROWDS of people at the exhibition!
The exhibition is open until November 2024 – recommend visiting.
